Fifty Foot Hose - Cauldron & Seventh Wave - Psi-Fi

In case you were thinking this was going to be some kind of all-Metal blog (it isn't, but there will be Metal) here are a couple of curveballs for ya- Fifty-Foot Hose were a late 60s experimental rock group from San Francisco that sound to me like Jefferson Airplane meets Hawkwind and the Barney Bubblesque cover deepens the impression. Check out the track "Cauldron"- sounds like what might have been going on in Susan Atkins' head the night Helter Skelter began...

Information on Seventh Wave is a little harder to come by, basically they were an early 70s English progressive rock group with a pop edge, tons of Moogs and Arps, a decadent bent and an eccentric, over-the-top vocalist. I mean, look at the guy...

This post is for Bill-John in case he doesn't already have 'em, but I bet he does anyway...
